Create Yourself

This week, my 2010 planner says:
"Life isn't about finding yourself. Life's about creating yourself."- George Bernard Shaw

This I find particularly true. You don't really know where you'll be tomorrow, who you're going to be with, what you'll end up being 20 years from now, but you can definitely START on SOMETHING at this very moment.

When you think about it, you can be anything you want to be (wow, I totally didn't mean for this to sound cheesy), but people keep dismissing this thought. Why is it okay to say this to children and yet we completely ignore this when WE start living life? We find ourselves stuck in crappy jobs that we rant about the whole day, we keep DREAMING about 'what could have been' and yet we don't do anything to get there. I say start moving because you only have one life to live!

This week, I challenge you to find the things that make you happy, discover what you're good at and work on those skills, think about what you want to do for the rest of your life.
