Wonder in Everything

A lot of people dream of stepping out of their comfort zone and just try doing the things that have been floating in their heads for quite some time. Perhaps, getting that job that you've always wanted, but being too afraid to make that first step because of the uncertainty that lies ahead. Fear and rejection are only some of the elements that limit you from conquering the world and enjoying life to the fullest. I think we should all get to share the many awesome experiences we've had in our lives in order to inspire and motivate others to start off their own adventures. As a result of taking that treacherous first step, I've had some great episodes.

I've always wanted to try Capoeira, but gave so many reasons not to, so even though this free class was dominated by kids (and I had another reason to say NO), I went for it and learned a lot of awesome moves!

I absolutely love spontaneity. After a brazilian party full of drinks and dancing, my friend and I decided to take a 2-hour drive to check out the last day of Hot Air Balloon Fiesta with no serious knowledge of how to get there. We left the party at 3am and arrived at 5am. I got to take really great pictures of that day.

Speaking of pictures, I was photographed by a fashion magazine that same day! So this is me (No sleep, no bath) in the magazine.

I love hitting the beach to surf, but only when I have a ride and loads of friends to go with. In this particular event, I took a bus and a tricycle, only went with one girl friend, camped out for 4 days and met new friends along the way. This was also when I rode my first big wave *which they failed to capture*. There's a first time for everything.

Of course, I had to include my radio days. Being a radio Dj was a dream of mine. I would always plan on auditioning for certain radio stations but would wuss out because of that fear of rejection and "not being good enough". Right after graduation, I knew I had no excuses left. I was free to do whatever I wanted, so I went for it. I got to interview a lot of great bands including one of the biggest Filipino bands, "Wolfgang" and the infamous "Journey".
I hope in some divine way, you get to try the many wonderful things life has instore for you. Start LIVING. :)
