Sky's the Limit

Being a recent graduate gives you that feeling of emancipation. Your thoughts haven't been tainted by how awful the 'real world' can be and I think that's a good way to start your life as an adult.
Fearless, worry-free and ready to conquer the world. That would be most ideal, since most people who have already experienced rejection, a nagging boss and back-stabbing co-workers have already instilled fear in them and thus limiting their options in searching for a better job or being part of an organization.

Right after finishing my thesis in college, I tried out as a radio disc jockey. I fearlessly walked in the station and handed my resume, not knowing that I was going to be recording as well! They asked me to write a spiel about anything, mostly about myself. But I figured, I've got to be different and catch their attention, so I wrote a script and recorded it as if I were already a DJ, running my own show, introducing one of my favorite bands and even giving a bit of trivia about the song. I owned it. I got a call right after that. After 5 months of training, I didn't get the job. *Surprise!* There were just too many things going on in the company and I they lost sight of me, being the new girl. I didnt have a place in their station. Looking back tho, I'm confident that I was definitely good enough to be part of the company. Backed-up by the other veteran DJs, they knew I had potential. The important thing was that I knew I didn't slack off when I was there, I gave my 100% everyday. That was one heck of an experience. And I'm ready to face the next ones, with a slight touch of fear and a splash of excitement! There are still so many things out there for me to try out.

Life's going to hand you a lot of unexpected things, question is, what are you going to do with it? How are you going to handle it?Don't let fear and rejection limit you. I say stop thinking about all the things that could go wrong and think about the endless possibilities and opportunities that await you!
